Why London agency pricing varies so much

London web design agencies charge anywhere from £500 to £50,000 for a website. At the low end you get a theme installation with your logo swapped in — the same layout thousands of other businesses use, with no strategic input. At the high end you're paying for large teams, account managers and office overheads. Goggle Studio sits in the middle: senior designer and developer on every project, bespoke work from brief to launch, priced so London SMEs can afford to compete properly.

What you get at each price point

The Starter tier (from £1,000) covers up to five pages, bespoke design, mobile-optimised development and Google Analytics setup. The Growth tier (from £2,500) adds multiple service pages, full SEO content structure, custom motion and a conversion-focused architecture. Custom builds (from £5,000) cover applications, ecommerce platforms or large multi-page sites with unique functionality. All tiers include a fixed-price agreement, two rounds of revisions and a two-week post-launch support period.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Why do some agencies charge £10,000+ for a website?+

Larger agencies price in account management layers, pitch teams, project managers and office overheads. The actual design and development work may be similar to a smaller agency — you're paying for the structure around it. At Goggle Studio, you work directly with the senior designer and developer on your project, which keeps costs down without reducing quality.

Do you offer payment plans?+

Yes. Most projects split into a 50% deposit at project kick-off and 50% on completion. For larger projects (£2,500+), we can split across three milestones: brief approval, design sign-off, and launch. Payment plans are agreed in writing before work begins.

What's not included in the price?+

Domain registration (typically £10–15/year), third-party tool subscriptions (e.g. a CMS, email marketing platform or booking software) and stock photography licensing are not included. We'll flag every third-party cost during scoping so there are no surprises.

How does your fixed-price quoting work?+

We scope the project in writing before any design work begins — the number of pages, features, rounds of revisions and delivery timeline. That scope becomes a fixed price. If you want to add pages or features mid-project, we quote the addition separately. We don't charge by the hour, so you always know what you're spending.

How long does it take to build?+

Most projects take 2–4 weeks from briefing to launch. More complex builds with custom functionality typically take 4–6 weeks.

Will the site rank on Google?+

Yes. Every site we build ships with technical SEO, semantic HTML structure, Core Web Vitals optimisation, and schema markup. We also offer SEO service pages tailored to your sector.
